ROME FIUMICINO AIRPORT (FCO)
L'Andana is approximately 2 hours and 10 mins driving from Rome Fiumicino Airport where there are direct flights from most major U.S. cities.   

PISA GALILEO GALILEI AIRPORT (PSA)
 PSA is approximately 90 minutes driving to L'Andana, but this airport only offers connections from other European cities (something to keep in mind if you are traveling before the wedding).

FLORENCE AMERIGO VESPUCCI AIRPORT (FLR)
FLR is approximately 2 hours driving to L'andana, but this airport only offers connections from other European cities (something to keep in mind if you are traveling before the wedding).

ENTERING EUROPE

E.E.S. SYSTEM
The E.U. has recently begun the process of shifting to an electronic entry system (E.E.S.) for passport control.  Stated delicately, the rollout has not been smooth.   We expect things to improve by the end of summer, but for the sake of planning, please make sure you leave plenty of time to go through E.E.S. upon initial entry and final exit from the European Schengen Zone.   This includes any layovers you may have.

E.T.I.A.S. (EUROPEAN TRAVEL INFORMATION AND AUTHORIZATION SYSTEM)
 The E.U. is planning on charging a small fee upon entry to Europe to non-Schengen visitors. While this system is not yet live, it is possible that it will be active by the Fall.  The simple application will be accessible online.  Keep watching this space for developments.

PASSPORTS
Don't forget to check your passport expiration date.  Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 3 months from the date of departure from Italy.   Please account for 3 months for your passport to be processed and delivered.
