This is the quintessential Tuscan landscape, where the sun hangs low over the foothills, casting its golden light over rows of grapevines and olive trees. And it’s apparent upon arrival that you’re on to something special — the half-mile driveway, lined with cypresses and umbrella pines, makes for a stunning first impression.  The interiors, by Ettore Mochetti, the chief editor of Architectural Digest Italy, are sophisticated, eschewing faux-rustic country clichés in favor of a more urbane and opulent look.

As for the atmosphere, it’s a disarming blend of professional hospitality and guest-house intimacy, with breakfast ordered in the kitchen, right over the cook’s shoulder; the and served in the drawing rooms or out on the patio. The relatively casual Restaurant La Villa serves classic Tuscan fare in the house’s dining room; the main culinary event is La Trattoria Enrico Bartolini, set in the estate’s old granary.

L'Andana 

Riva del Sole Resort is situated directly on the seashore with a private beach approximately 1.5 miles from the town of Castiglione della Pescaia. The 4-star hotel has rooms with a modern feel, all with balcony or terrace and A/C, Wi-Fi, LED satellite TV, safe and minibar. 

 In addition to its refined restaurant "La Palma", the resort offers numerous amenities such as beach access, wellness center, two swimming pools, one sea water pool, bikes, and jogging paths.  

Transportation will be provided to all wedding events at L'andna as well as periodic shuttles to L'Andana and Castiglione Della Pescaia on Friday.

RIVA DEL SOLE 

A 4-star boutique hotel in the center of town along the marina in Castiglione della Pescaia.  The hotel boasts private beach access through its sister hotel, Hotel Miramare, which is accessible on foot or via a Tuk Tuk ride provided by the hotel.

Transportation will be provided to all wedding events at L'andna as well as periodic shuttles to L'Andana on Friday.

While we do not have a room block at this hotel, you are welcome to book rooms directly through their website.

Transportation to L'Andana during the day on Friday and for all wedding events will depart from Acqua Boutique Hotel, which is a five minute walk from Hotel Miramare.
