EXPLORE CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA

OVERVIEW

Set in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, Castiglione della Pescaia is a beautiful fishing village overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. 

Along the coast you can find a seafront promenade, beaches, the marina from which fishing boats depart, shops, and restaurants.

The village, enclosed by ancient walls, reveals itself as you walk up the hill.   Don't miss the gorgeous view of the water and surrounding area at the top.

PIZZA & BIRRA ANIMA MAREMMA
Roman style pizza al taglio (square pizza that is cut into slices with scissors) and schiacciata (sandwiches on Tuscan foccacia).

LUNCH & DINNER (SIT DOWN)

There will be periodic shuttles on Thursday night after the event (dinner not provided), and throughout the day on Friday and Saturday from L'Andana and Riva Del Sole into Castiglione della Pescaia should you want to explore the town or the beach.

CLANN CUCINA CONVIVIALE
A truly excellent seafood restaurant that combines the traditional
Mediterranean style with contemporary finesse.  All of the seafood is freshly caught.   Make sure you make a reservation.

CASTY
Delicious Neapolitan, Roman and pan pizzas, as well as simple pastas.  They have dairy free options in addition to a fairly extensive wine list.  Approachable price point.

LA FORTEZZA
Meat and fish cuisine. Options for vegetarian and gluten free.  Located in the old section of Castiglione della Pescaia.

L'ARPIONE RESTAURANT
 A creative and unique seafood restaurant where traditional dishes are reinterpreted by the chef.  These are not your classic flavors, so only try this one if you are feeling adventurous.

GELATERIA ORSO BIANCO
There are a lot of gelato shops in town, and they are all good, but none compare to Gelateria Orso Bianco.   Voted Best Gelato in the Maremma multiple years in a row, this is a must-visit in Castiglione Della Pescaia.  Located on the beachfront promenade.
